Careers

The American Alloy Fabricators team is looking for qualified professionals for these roles:

GTAW/FCAW Welder Fabricator

Apply today to join our team as a GTAW/FCAW welder fabricator. As an ASME code manufacturer, we specialize in producing code-compliant vessels and processing systems that can handle high-pressure contents. Our in-house welders create code-compliant welds for industrial equipment, and we’re growing our team with experienced welders who take pride in precision work and attention to detail. We are seeking an experienced GTAQ/FCAQ welder fabricator who can fulfill daily welding tasks, including understanding blueprints, performing welds on nickel and stainless steel pieces, and maintaining compliance with ASME code requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities for GTAQ/FCAQ Welder Fabricators

  • Welding tasks and projects. Welders will be responsible for creating high-quality welds on custom-ordered vessels and equipment. These include GTAQ (TIG) welds and Flux-Core (FCAQ) welds for both nickel and stainless steel alloy workpieces.
  • Blueprint mastery. Welders will need to accurately read, understand, and interpret technical drawings for project completion. We expect 100% accuracy for understanding welding symbols, specifications, and blueprint details.
  • Welding to code. All welds must meet or exceed applicable ASME code standards. Welders will be responsible for performing and assessing welds to determine code compliance, necessary rework, and process improvements.
  • Quality control. We collaborate and take joint ownership of compliance and quality control on every project. Welders must actively participate in quality control by evaluating the quality of welds and their compliance with rigorous inspections and ASME requirements.

Requirements for GTAQ/FCAQ Welder Fabricator Applicants

All applicants must establish or demonstrate the following:

  • Technical welding expertise, specifically with GTAQ and FCAQ welding processes and techniques
  • Fabrication skills, including fabricating, fitting, and welding, during every phase of production
  • Experience welding stainless steel and nickel alloys, our most commonly used materials
  • Extensive familiarity and understanding of ASME welding codes

If you meet these requirements and are excited to work in a position that specializes in high-quality industrial vessels and processing equipment for industrial manufacturers, contact us and apply today.
