Large Stainless Steel Tanks Are Connected by a Complex System of Pipes, Valves, and Sensors in a Chemical Factory

Highly specialized tanks and vessels are needed for safe and compliant chemical storage and processing during manufacturing, reactions, and storage. Different types of containers are used to contain liquids and gases under pressure or at specific temperatures. A variety of materials can be used depending on the chemicals and processes involved, and some container designs are optimized for process control.

American Alloy Fabricators brings decades of experience working with chemical processing applications, precision fabrication, and material selection to each tank and vessel we manufacture. Learn more about our capabilities and containers for chemical applications, and why we are a trusted supplier for the chemical industry.

Stainless Steel Chemical Storage Tanks

Stainless steel is valued in chemical applications because it is highly corrosion-resistant and durable. We fabricate storage tanks that protect against potential corrosion, contamination, and leaks, as well as for many chemical processing and fermentation applications.

Depending on your needs, we manufacture vertical, horizontal, single-walled, or double-walled storage tanks. Vertical tanks are ideal for storing refined chemicals like acids and gases, while horizontal tanks work for many types of liquid chemicals and offer superior temperature control and process efficiency. Single-walled tanks provide moderate protection for many chemicals, with double-walled options for additional protection or long-term storage.

ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code-Compliant Models

Many chemical processes require reliable pressure control with ASME-compliant pressure vessels. These vessels safely maintain operations in high-pressure systems for safety and compliance with industry requirements. They can be fabricated to your custom specifications, including a variety of head shapes like flat and flat-sloping, toroconical, torispherical, and elliptical. We can also incorporate support structures, manways, vents, drains, outlets, jackets, and other functional features.

Hastelloy Reactors for Corrosive Chemicals

Reactors are commonly used for distillation, extractions, and post-processing operations, and can be fabricated in different configurations to support specific processes or storage conditions for liquids and gases. We fabricate reactor vessels from materials including stainless steel, Hastelloy, and others. Jackets, piping, and plug-welded dimpled jackets can be incorporated as well to facilitate thermal management and maintain structural integrity in pressurized vessels.
